Our Story
Colorado Comfort Cuisine served from a cabin with a story.
It all began as an idea to elevate comfort food into a comfort cuisine all its own — a love letter to Boulder, written from an original miner's cabin once home to John's, Boulder's first fine-dining institution for forty years. Even our name, borrowed from a Lydia Maria Child poem about going home, is rooted in tradition and comfort.
Our magic word is whimsy. Whether you're sitting at the little bar under century-old beams or walking through the kitchen out to our backyard, we hope you'll feel a bit of it the moment you arrive.
